Category: Tibet

Technically an autonomous region in China and not a country, it has a culture so unique and different from the rest of China, that it deserves its own category.  Tibet is one of my favorite places in the world.  The people are so incredibly warm and welcoming, the culture so rich, and the environment so dramatic, that there are countless rewarding experiences you can have there. Meet monks, drink yak butter tea, enjoy a local festival, discover a hidden library, help make a sand mandala, and more.
